Electrobike Zone LLC – Swiss Battery

1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Service (GTC) apply to all orders, services, and sales made by Electrobike Zone LLC, including under the Swiss Battery brand, whether in-store, in-workshop, or via the online store.

2. Online orders and conclusion of the contract

By confirming an order on the online store, the customer makes a binding offer. The simple automatic confirmation of receipt does not constitute acceptance. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order or ship the items.

3. Price and payment

Prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF), including VAT. Shipping costs and any other charges are displayed separately during the ordering process.

Payment is made using the methods offered (card, online payment, invoice, etc.). The items remain the property of Electrobike Zone LLC until full payment has been received.

4. Delivery, collection, and transportation

Delivery in Switzerland is carried out by the carrier of our choice. The delivery times indicated are for information purposes only and do not constitute a firm guarantee.

Transport risks (loss, theft, damage) are transferred to the customer as soon as the package is handed over to the carrier. The customer must check the packages upon receipt and immediately report any anomalies.

In the event of in-store pickup, the customer is notified as soon as the order is ready. The risks are transferred at the time of availability.

5. Right of return

The return and refund conditions are described in our Return and Refund Policy. Certain items and services (including Swiss Battery reconditioning and repairs) are excluded from return.

6. Workshop services & Swiss Battery

Electrobike Zone LLC offers the following products in its workshop, notably under the Swiss Battery brand:

• reconditioning, repair, and rebuilding of batteries,
• diagnostics and technical interventions,
• sale and installation of components.

Swiss Battery services are tailor-made. Once the work has been completed, no returns, refunds, or cancellations are possible.

7. Warranty

Unless otherwise specified, Electrobike Zone LLC grants the following warranties from the date of delivery or pickup: - For the frame and main components, a 2-year warranty applies.

• Complete kits, motors, new batteries: 24 months or 5,000 km (whichever comes first),
• New bikes (mechanical parts): 24 months,
• mounting kits: 3 months,
• standard parts and accessories: 24 months,
• Swiss Battery work (reconditioning, repair): 2 years on labor and components supplied.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Electrobike Zone LLC will choose the method of settlement of the warranty claim (repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund).

7.1 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty is specifically excluded in the event of:

• improper maintenance or misuse,
• shocks, impacts, falls, damage related to moisture or immersion,
• incorrect storage (e.g., battery left completely discharged),
• excessive loading or unloading,
• use of an unsuitable charger,
• intervention by a third party after our work,
• opening of the battery by the customer,
• extreme storage temperatures.

7.2 Special cases (Bafang, Speedbox)

For Bafang kits and similar systems, the warranty may be voided in the event of use above 25 km/h, lack of maintenance, exceeding the total authorized weight, or visible impact.

For speed-limiting devices (Speedbox, etc.), the customer assumes full technical and legal responsibility. The use of such devices may void the manufacturer's warranty. Electrobike Zone Sàrl cannot be held liable for any resulting damage.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Electrobike Zone LLC is not liable for indirect damages, financial losses, or loss of profits. Maximum liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the product or service in question.

The customer is solely responsible for complying with the law when using modified or unrestricted bicycles on public roads.

9. Data protection

The collection and processing of personal data are described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Electrobike Zone Sàrl, in Prilly, unless otherwise required by law.
