48V/5A Lithium Charger – Fast charging with choice of connector is a smart battery charger designed for 48V (13S) lithium-ion batteries. It delivers 5A of power, enabling fast and efficient recharging of your battery, whilst ensuring stability and safety throughout the process. Its robust design, featuring an aluminium casing, guarantees excellent heat dissipation and enhanced durability.
This charger features a CC/CV (constant current/constant voltage) charging circuit with advanced protection features. It includes safety mechanisms against short circuits, overvoltage, overcurrent and reverse polarity, as well as thermal protection against overheating. Automatic ventilation ensures optimal cooling to maintain performance. The output voltage is precisely set at 54.6V DC, with a maximum output current of 5A. Compatibility is ensured with the majority of 48V lithium batteries designed for electric vehicles, including bicycles, scooters, kick scooters, tricycles and other electric vehicles.

Usage and compatibility
This charger is recommended for 48V (13S) lithium batteries with a capacity of 14 Ah or more, particularly for 13S4P configurations or higher. For smaller batteries, a 2A or 3A charger is recommended to extend the service life of the cells. Compatibility covers the majority of 48V lithium batteries for e-bikes, scooters, tricycles and other electric vehicles, including Bafang motor kits and custom-built batteries. Always check whether your battery and its BMS support a 5A charging current before use to ensure optimal charging.

Care and warranties
