DT ALPINE® III Want a spoke that is both extremely strong and lightweight? Choose the Alpine III. The DT Alpine III is the spoke with the lowest weight relative to its strength. This is made possible by a refined manufacturing process. Starting from a 2.34 mm spoke, the diameter is reduced by cold forging to 2 mm at the thread and even 1.8 mm in the centre section. This saves up to 173 g compared with straight-gauge spokes. Despite its light weight, the DT Alpine III stands out for its maximum strength and reliability. It is ideal for wheels subjected to heavy loads, such as on tandems or e-bikes. Weight: 418 g for 64 spokes of 264 mm length.
