The Electrobike Zone workshop in Prilly, near Lausanne, handles repairs and servicing for bikes and e-bikes. This page lists the services you can order online: conversion kit fitting, mechanical work, battery diagnostics and repair, custom wheels and hire.

What bike and e-bike repairs do you carry out in the workshop?

For routine mechanical work, the workshop handles the following:

• Brakes: cable-operated rim brakes and hydraulic/disc brakes
• Drivetrain
• Handlebar
• Tyres and wheels
• Accessory fitting
• Software update
• Ultrasonic cleaning

Labour is charged in 5-minute increments. Small parts and consumables are offered as a separate service.

Can you convert my bike into an e-bike?

Yes, the workshop fits e-bike conversion kits, including Polini kit installation. It also offers Speedbox Tuning installation.

What should I do if my e-bike battery no longer works?

The workshop offers several battery services, including for Swiss Battery:

• Swiss Battery battery diagnostics
• quote and fault finding
• repair after deep discharge
• testing and issuing of a capacity certificate
• fault finding and warranty
• Swiss Battery small parts
• return shipping costs (SB)
• Swiss Battery labour, charged in 5-minute increments
• custom-built 36 V battery

Do you build custom wheels and rims?

Yes. The workshop offers custom-length DT Swiss spokes as well as custom rim building.
