Find here the general questions about our electric kits
It is important to measure your bottom bracket to check compatibility and refer to the table below. If in doubt, write us a message and we will gladly answer you.
| Crankset width | Necessary accessory: |
| 68 to 73mm | Without additional accessory |
| 86 to 92mm | Lekkie BBS adapter |
| PF30 68mm (46mm inside diameter) | Lekkie PF-30 adapter |
The range is very difficult to measure, as it depends on many different parameters, such as motor power, the weight of the bike, the cyclist, and luggage.
Elevation changes also play a significant role.
According to our tests, we have found that with the 500w kit and an average towed weight of 110kg (bike, cyclist, luggage included), we get about 50 to 60 km on a course including 1000m of positive and negative elevation change.
In Switzerland, the law allows you to ride a converted bicycle without registration (yellow moped plate) up to 500w of motor power and 25km/h of assistance (this does not concern the authorized limitation at which you can ride; you must respect traffic laws in all cases).
If you exceed the assistance limit of 25km/h or 500w of motor power, you can only use your bicycle on private property.
If you wish to ride on public roads with a motor exceeding 500w or 25km/h, you must have your bicycle inspected by the vehicle licensing office in your canton of residence. Before making such a purchase, please inquire with the vehicle licensing office in your canton of residence.
Here you will find a list of accepted regulations concerning electric bicycles.

All our kits are guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase, this includes manufacturing defects.
Standard wear and tear, errors related to assembly, as well as poor maintenance are excluded from the warranty.
Subsidies are provided by your municipality of residence.
Each municipality has its own criteria, it is advisable to check with them to obtain such subsidies.
For information, the municipalities that subsidize soft mobility by purchasing a bicycle, in principle, subsidize the purchase of a kit as long as it is purchased and paid for in Switzerland.
All kits are in stock and available immediately, either from our stock in Prilly or from our supplier, who can deliver within the timeframe indicated on each kit variant.
Assembling the kit does not require extensive assembly knowledge, however, you can contact us to get an assembly offer at our workshop in Prilly or at one of our partners depending on your place of residence.
- The motor does not require any special maintenance, there is no need to open it for maintenance unless expressly requested to do so by our technical service. Any opening of the motor without our consent will immediately void the warranty.
- The battery should be charged regularly, especially when the bike is not used for an extended period (for example, in winter), at least once a month, charge the battery for a minimum of 2 to 3 hours.
If the battery is left without charge for an extended period, the battery may be damaged, the warranty will also be lost if, after inspection, it is found that it is due to a slow and prolonged discharge.
Here are the elements that can help you identify the failure:
1. Is my battery charged?
2. Are all the connectors properly connected?
If, despite these checks, they do not turn on, please contact us so that we can help you as soon as possible.
Yes, you can visit our store in Prilly, however, if the store has not taken care of the assembly of your kit, and the repair requires disassembly, the costs are borne by the customer. If we have assembled your kit, we take care of everything, this is part of the service you paid for when you entrusted us with your bike.
