The customer's warranty right is satisfied at EBZ's discretion by repairing the item, delivering an equivalent and fault-free replacement item, reducing the price, or canceling the contract (resolution). Repairs are carried out by EBZ or by repair shops authorized by EBZ. The customer is not entitled to entrust the repair to third parties. In such a case, the customer is not entitled to reimbursement of repair costs. The customer's warranty right expires in the event of technical intervention and defects resulting from improper handling, excessive strain, inappropriate use, external intervention (damage due to humidity, contact with liquid, impact, etc.) or failure to observe the manufacturer's operating instructions and maintenance instructions.
The best solution is to open a customer account using the same email address as your order. You will then have a summary of all your orders and you can download the invoice in PDF format.
The other possibility is at the bottom of each email for your order, there is a link allowing you to download the invoice.

The battery life is very difficult to measure, as it depends on many different parameters, such as the motor power, the weight of the bike, the cyclist, and the luggage. The elevation changes also play a fairly important role. According to our tests, we have found that with the 500w kit and an average towed weight of 110kg (bike, cyclist, luggage included) we do about 50 to 60 km on a course including 1000m of positive and negative elevation gain.
In Switzerland, the law allows you to ride a converted bicycle without registration (yellow moped plate) up to 500w of motor power and 25km/h of assistance (this does not concern the authorized limitation at which you can ride; you must respect traffic laws in all cases).
If you exceed the assistance limit of 25km/h or 500w of motor power, you can only use your bicycle on private property.
If you wish to ride on public roads with a motor exceeding 500w or 25km/h, you must have your bicycle inspected by the vehicle licensing office in your canton of residence. Before making such a purchase, please inquire with the vehicle licensing office in your canton of residence.
Here you will find a list of accepted regulations concerning electric bicycles.

All our kits are guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase, which includes manufacturing defects. Standard wear and tear, errors related to assembly, as well as poor maintenance are excluded from the warranty.
Subsidies are provided by your municipality of residence.
Each municipality has its own criteria, it is advisable to check with them to obtain such subsidies.
For information, the municipalities that subsidize soft mobility through the purchase of a bicycle, in principle, subsidize the purchase of a kit as long as it is purchased and paid for in Switzerland.
All kits are in stock and available immediately, either from our stock in Prilly or from our supplier, who can deliver within the timeframe indicated on each kit variant.
No, unfortunately, we cannot provide a warranty on motors or batteries not purchased from us, as we all have very different conditions for importing based on volumes, prices, etc.
We can repair it for you after a quote, and it will be invoiced.
- The motor does not require any particular maintenance; there is no need to open it for maintenance unless expressly requested to do so by our technical service. Any opening of the motor without our consent will immediately void the warranty.
- The battery should be charged regularly, especially when the bicycle is not used for an extended period (e.g., in winter), charge the battery for a minimum of 2 to 3 hours at least once a month.
If the battery is left uncharged for an extended period, the battery may be ruined, and the warranty will also be void if, after inspection, it is found to be due to slow and prolonged discharge.
Here are the elements that can help you target the failure:
1. Is my battery charged?
2. Are all the connectors properly connected?
If, despite these checks, it does not turn on, please contact us so that we can help you as soon as possible.
A frequent error code that you can probably eliminate yourself is 21, which is the speed sensor. Check that the magnet passes in front of the sensor. For all other error codes, please contact us.
Yes, you can go to our store in Prilly; however, if the store did not take care of the assembly of your kit, and the repair requires disassembly, the costs are the responsibility of the customer. If we assembled your kit, we take care of everything; this is part of the service you paid for when you entrusted us with your bike.
